It’s January, and yes, we’re starting seeds already! In Zone 8, now is the perfect time to be planting early spring plants. It’s too cold to germinate outside & we don’t have an abundance of sunlight just yet, so the best plan of attack is to begin starting seeds indoors.
We’ve done this in previous years, and though our system worked, we’ve learned a lot. This year we have brand new shelving, more lights, and a lot of knowledge under our belts. So we want to walk you through our quick & easy grow light system.
This allows you to be prepped and ready with small, hardy plants starts once the ground warms up enough to plant. Or they could be going outside under a cold frame.
